I once borrowed the core rules from my university’s gaming library, but did nothing with it once I’d read the player’s book.
I have a soft spot for the game, and I love the Star*Drive setting… Dark*Matter too (though i preferred Wolfgang’s original drafts to Monte Cook’s rewrites).
That said I always felt the system could have used some more… something. Maybe another few months of testing. The skill system had this great way of making us all feel constantly mediocre.
